Welcome to the Official Web Site of the Town of Norquay! 
Norquay, Saskatchewan is not contained by its lattice of shaded streets and sentinel grain elevators at the North edge of town. A diversity and richness extends from the people to the vital farmland and forested wilderness that forms its real borders. Some seventy miles North of Norquay are the 1.5 million acres of the Porcupine Provincial Forest. A three hour drive to the southwest links rural quietness with the urban vibrancy of Regina. From the vantage of a small plane flying above the Norquay area, the land emerges from verdant river valleys into powerful stands of forest that comb the fresh prairie air. Of the flatness and aridity that so many people associate with the midwest, there is none. There is a subtle beauty and an irrepressible energy of land that has, for more than a century, shared its character with the people who make it their home. |
